Mod support status
As of late September 2026, Dressmaker has no official mod support and no established modding community — there's no workshop integration and no announced modding tools. For a game three weeks past launch, that's normal; whether it ever changes is the developers' call.
What's coming officially
The post-launch roadmap covers many of the things people would otherwise mod:
- Online challenge mode — submit designs, vote on others'
- Transparent fabrics with double-sided meshes
- Full controller support improvements
- Mobile and Nintendo Switch ports (planned, undated)
About “mod” downloads
Any site offering Dressmaker mods, texture packs or “extra fabrics” downloads right now is not distributing official files — for a new single-player indie, these are malware-bait patterns. There's nothing legitimate to download yet; the safe move is to wait for an official word.
Where to watch for news
The developers post updates on Steam news, and the community gathers on the official Discord and around the itch.io page. Feature requests (more garment types, menswear, pants) are actively discussed there — the team is reading.
